1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every government office. We do not possess official records, obtain official background checks, or submit court papers on a visitor's behalf.

Instead, the content identifies the custodians of Esmeralda County criminal records, including the Sheriff's Office, Esmeralda Township Justice Court, the Fifth Judicial District Clerk, the Nevada State Police Central Repository, and the Nevada Public Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to tools run by outside providers.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Violate a federal, Nevada, or local law
• Threaten, stalk, or harass a person with information found here
• Use site content for a hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decision
• Attempt unauthorized access to a system or account

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information found here or through a linked tool to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may be criminal. Nevada law places specific limits on use of Nevada Public Sex Offender Registry data. Under NRS 179B.280 and 179B.285, prohibited use can lead to civil remedies and enhanced criminal consequences. Registry publication supports public safety awareness, never vigilantism or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not produce credit reports, consumer reports, or official background checks. Our advertising partners do not offer tools here for applicant screening, rental review, insurance rating, or credit decisions. Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to:

• Make a hiring or termination decision
• Evaluate a rental or housing application
• Set an insurance rate or assess credit
• Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or public program
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A regulated purpose requires the proper official channel or an FCRA-compliant consumer reporting agency. Nevada State Police Central Repository rules also limit who may receive Nevada criminal-history information.
